Ghosts Blow Me Kisses — random micropoetry 2014

(tanka / haiku / two lines / gogyohka)

after so long
we exchange pleasantries
as if normal —
as if years of coolness
were only imagined

13/5/14

loverless
I write erotica
why now?

10/6/14

Who loves me?
Ghosts blow me kisses.

11/6/14

saying goodbye to her
evening shadows fall

8/9/14

striped by sunlight
her purring form
remembered

Sydney
in climate change summer —
and she wonders
if she should buy a fan!
(Been living in England.)

the mystery of tea —
almost
I could forsake coffee

(after reading haiku in praise of tea)

    1. Thank you, Sherry. I found I had all these bits and pieces filed and forgotten, and thought I should do something with them. :)

  2. Back for another read and still love best "ghosts blow me kisses" and, also, the feline form remembered. Sigh. And tea is my first go-to every morning, once I have my legs under me.

Nice to be keeping in touch irrespective of how long had been the lapse. A nice reaction is most welcomed!

  12. Sometimes in the tea we can see many things...ah and I've had ghosts blow me kisses as I feel the breeze in a still room. A lovely series of poems, but each with it's own message.

  20. Living with ghosts of time and person and cat--no wonder these delightful images are there for you to accumulate. Whether striped by sunlight or passion, they are blessings to you and possibilities for all of us.

  21. I like Pearl's word, "delicate". Delicate but with deep sense imagery which is both emotive and thought provoking. Like others before me, I really like ghosts blowing kisses, but the question before it really sets it up beautifully,
