licking my lips
after the banquet
replete
after the banquet
replete
26/12/14
memory
the smell of your skin
its taste
***
my lips
on your hair
murmuring
***
your fingers
hesitant
then bold
27/12/14
he traces
the slender curve
slowly
28/12/14
hot afternoon
your cool breath
caresses my shoulder

All I can say is ~ Mhmmm! So beautifully expressed Rosemary.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks. :)
DeleteI find this hilarious that I'm not the only one who uses haiku to writer a much longer poem. This was really full of emotion.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kenn, I in turn find it intriguing that you related to this as to a longer poem. I do use haiku that way at times, as do other poets I know - but in this case it is a series of separate haiku. I tend to post my haiku to my blog in monthly collections rather than one at a time.
DeleteOr perhaps you referred only to the three written on the same date — but even they were separate, as I tried to convey by the asterisks between them.
DeleteOh, these are good, Rosemary. Give me a fan! Smiles.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!
DeleteThis is a great series, Rosemary! I like the juxtapositions of haiku.
ReplyDeleteYes it's a form I can't seem to leave alone. :)
DeleteWONDERFUL, especially for Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeletethe smell and taste of the skin...ah, love the intimacy in these
ReplyDeleteand those are echoes that stick with...
50 shades of haiku eh? smiles.
Very different, I trust, from those other 50 shades! :)
DeleteThis is wonderful., writing erotica in haiku is such a great idea.. I have seen others do it to great effect but I have rarely been successful myself.n
ReplyDeleteYou a surprise me, Bjorn. I would have thought you'd write any kind of poetry well.
DeleteSo much more passion in your hot haiku, than in hundreds of pages and a reel of film.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely week ahead.

Ha ha! Yes, I think subtlety and suggestion can be a lot sexier than the explicit. (Also I don't find abusive behaviour attractive.)
DeleteV Day special....lovely set Rosemary :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you liked them, Sumana
DeleteIt is funny how just a few words can stir the imagination and allow the reader to picture the scenes in their minds. Beautifully done Rosemary.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice to know. :)
