I ... entered the poem of life, whose purpose is ... simply to witness the beauties of the world, to discover the many forms that love can take. (Barabara Blackman in 'Glass After Glass')

Not Telling

(On being asked for bio notes on The Real Me)

Rosemary Nissen-Wade refuses absolutely
to tell you the many illegal and immoral
acts of her long life. (The fattening you can
see – though she vets her public photos.)

You must know? Oh alright – Rosemary’s
a pirate: long red hair, boots to thighs,
a mean hand with a cutlass. (Yes. Really.)

(Picture freely available for use in the public domain.)

At Words Count in 'imaginary garden with real toads' we are asked to write our real bio in 50 words or less.
