I ... entered the poem of life, whose purpose is ... simply to witness the beauties of the world, to discover the many forms that love can take. (Barabara Blackman in 'Glass After Glass')

Feeling Frustrated

It is a serious issue for me
when I have no internet connection.
I need my hobby group (photography)
plus the whole online poetry section.
Lacking all access is a distraction –
not in a good way. I want to protest.
I want to protest vociferously
and do some violence too, if I’m honest.
I'm too far from the tower, they tell me.
Service is weak – too bad, end of story.

  1. Your honesty is precious.

  2. Good to be able to express "vociferously" better than some other forms of venting I guess. Always the poetry.

  3. That IS frustrating. I would find it very vexing. There should be some way they can enhance your connection. Have you asked neighbours if they are experiencing trouble with reception? Might be worth checking. If they arent, then your provider should come over and see what he can do.Good luck! When I am without my computer it bothers me greatly.

    1. Thanks for the suggestion. Neighbours with different server have no trouble.

  4. Frustrating it is Rosemary! It has to be a daily ritual - no other way. Sherry has some good points there! Good luck to you Ma'am!

  5. I understand your frustration, Rosemary. I don't get out much--other than to the hospital. So when my internet connection is down, I find myself wanting to do some violence too.

I hope your service is restored back to normal soon!
