I ... entered the poem of life, whose purpose is ... simply to witness the beauties of the world, to discover the many forms that love can take. (Barabara Blackman in 'Glass After Glass')

The clock ticks: January haiku 2012

her journals
have been deleted
so she’s gone

I keep ignoring
the smart-arse
why doesn’t he leave?

the clock ticks
he is tired again
and lies down

green cacti
rotted by mould
the black spot

Dragon’s blood incense
powerful for this New Year
the Water Dragon.

when the rain pauses
