I was living in an old farmhouse when she came to visit me one day, and saw a mouse skitter across the floor. She was so terrified that she couldn't speak, but she did have the courage to jump up on her chair and stay there, gasping for breath, until she sensed that the danger had passed!Magical Mystical Teacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01853272111925075994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3313195297275159246.post-30337448775995891742016-01-28T23:00:15.242+11:002016-01-28T23:00:15.242+11:00I love your sister's poem! In the upper right corner”, I said
Proud that I could be so coherent.
“Oh, cool!” was his response.
“No”, I said. “Not cool. He has been there for three days
Staring at me."
“He is a she”, John said.
“Oh.”
John knows these things,
And I am proud of that.
“Well”, said I, “would you do –
Would you do something with her, please?”
We both knew what I meant.
We have opposing views on spiders.
“She’s on the outside of the screen”, he pointed out reasonably.
“Oh”, I said
And went back into my fog.
Rob Schacknehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03472139702551957034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3313195297275159246.post-61152381801593012052016-01-28T12:26:49.888+11:002016-01-28T12:26:49.888+11:00It's such a nice surprise to see your write th...It's such a nice surprise to see your write this in the Boomerang, Rosemary!!
